Personal History His father was S'Tokar of the Tal Shiar. His mother was T'Leia a Starfleet science officer. She was captured on a research mission close to the neutral zone by a small party of Tal Shiar operatives lead by S'Tokar. She was rescued a few days later by Starfleet.

She knew soon afterwards that she was pregnant. She resigned her commission in Starfleet and went back to Vulcan. Logically it was the best place for his upbringing to make sure he had every chance at education. He was born in the year 2340 on Vulcan.

Life was not easy for Syrrik. Even in a society ran completely by logic there were those that thought he did not belong and was inferior to the "pure" Vulcan society. However, that only angered him and made him double his efforts and push through his classes. Unfortunately, at the age of eighteen, he was denied entrance into the Vulcan Science Academy. It was deemed he would be too much at a disadvantage due to his half-breed status.

Instead, he went to Earth. There he applied for the Starfleet academy and was accepted. He spent most of his time taking every tactical and security class he could take. He excelled in hand to hand combat and weapons training. Four years later in 2362 he graduated as Salutatorian. He was assigned to the USS Ahwahnee, a Cheyenne-class starship as a tactical officer.

Five years later came the battle of Wolf 359. The Ahwahnee was ordered to Wolf 359 to join a task force charged with stopping a borg ship from getting to Earth. He served with distinction during the battle taking over for the chief tactical officer after they were critically injured. He also helped repel the borg that tried to invade the ship. Unfortunately, all of their skills were not enough. The Ahwahnee was critically damaged and the captain gave the order to abandon the ship. He ensured that the crew he could account for made it to their life pods before getting into one of his own. He was awarded the Karagite Order of Heroism for his actions during the battle.

For a time he was reassigned to the academy as an instructor. He taught courses in tactical training and hand to hand combat for three years. In 2370 however, he put in for a transfer and was assigned to the USS Thunderchild. A new Akira-class starship as the chief tactical officer.

The Dominion war started a couple of years later in 2373. As the chief tactical officer, he manned the weapons station of the ship during each engagement of ship to ship combat. He also was on the ground for any planetary missions/battles that the Thunderchild was ordered into. Unfortunately, the first officer was killed in the line of duty on one such mission. As the next ranking officer, Syrrik was promoted to the first officer. He changed from tactical to the red of command. He continued to lead the ground forces during planetary missions. However, he had to catch himself as he tried to remain in control of tactical during ship operations. For his actions and heroism during the Dominion war, he was awarded the Grankite Order of Tactics and the Star Cross.

After the end of the Dominion war, the Thunderchild was busy patrolling and putting out disputes along the borders of the Federation. Five years later he was offered the first officer position on the USS Cerberus a Prometheus-class starship. He accepted the position. For the next twelve years, he served on the Cerberus as the first officer. He turned down two offers for the captain's chair on other vessels. He felt he still had much to learn about the art of command as he had formerly been a tactical officer.

However, after a time he felt he was stagnating in his position. The Prometheus class starship was built for deep-space tactical assignments. It wasn't teaching him anything new about command. It was only using skills he already had. He loved the advanced ship, but it was time to move on. He looked around and put out inquiries for any other ships that might be looking for a first officer. He came across an opening for an Ambassador-class starship. That made him pause. He knew that the class had been called back into action. However it wasn't made specifically for tactical missions. He felt it would be the best choice for a change. He looked at the ship's name. The USS London. He put in his request for the position and for the transfer.
